.The Council on Ethics recommended the exclusion of ZTE Corporation (ZTE) from the Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG) on June 24, 2016, due to an unacceptable risk of gross corruption. In its assessment, the Council has emphasised the company’s involvement in corruption allegations in 18 countries.
The company was excluded from the GPFG on January 7, 2017.
